Lights above Portlaoise

One 'star' move from right to left until it travelled over to the mid left position (in ivideo, light on left). Then another light appeared and flickered around it.

The account

I was outside my back door on a friday evening when I saw a light moving across the sky form left to right,. It stopped and then a dancing, flickering light appeared around it. t his lasted a few seconds then both lights disappeared

Suggested explanation

Insect in front of camera - but I also saw it with my eyes in the sky so it wasnt an insect. If I had been behind glass or a window, then you could say it was a reflection but I was on the back step with no glass or window in the way. Couldnt have been light glare as again, i say it in the sky myself
