Who Are We?

The Midlands ICT Network (co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund Programme 2021-2027) is a widespread connection of people and organisations throughout the Midlands supporting digital innovation and collaboration across Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, and Longford. We connect local businesses, educators, agencies, and tech professionals through events, workshops, and strategic partnerships—focusing on areas like tech, sustainability, and upskilling.

The day-to-day coordination and community management is handled by Leona Conroy, ICT Network Manager, who leads on partnerships, outreach, logistics, and stakeholder engagement.

The Network is guided by Cormac Strain, ICT Network Advisor, who leads on strategy, technical delivery, and programme design. He works closely with businesses across the region to understand their digital needs and help them navigate emerging technologies.

Together, the team ensures the network remains responsive, practical, and focused on real outcomes for Midlands businesses.

Whether you’re a digital startup, an established IT firm, or a local company trying to make sense of digital change—we’re here to support you.
