Fran is currently attached to the Garda National Cyber Crime Unit, Mullingar Hub.Position since April 2021 Unit deals with Digital Forensics for all computer related crimes, on request.
Masters in Computer Forensics, UCD
For 7 years Fran was Seconded into the Department of Social Protection to investigate fraud. Worked in Crime & Security for 11 years in both the Security & Intelligence and Liaison & Protection Sections. First posted in uniform to Finglas Garda station in 1998 and was appointed a Detective in 2002. Previous worked for 7 years as a Prison Officer in Mountjoy Prison
